This sweet boy arrived happy, friendly and ready to charm all who met him and he did just that with TR foster, Suhey. Within days of welcoming him into her home, she realized she wanted to give him a forever home. She had to work out a few commitments but she knew he had found his place in her heart. Welcome home Rocky. He was found at the point of death from starvation on the side of the street, those days are now over for him. Watch him on his first couple of days at TRHQ!

We discovered Miss ViVi thrives around other dogs and she found her pawfect companion in Appa. Mary and Tony saw her profile and thought she would make would be the yin to Appa’s yan. In just a few minutes, we saw the magic. She headed home with them and is settling in nicely. She also joins a home with kitties and she seems to take them in stride. Watch her loving playtime with other pups.

Kyle landed on his paws. This international jet setting pup will be splitting his time between Switzerland and horse country VA. Jennifer spent less than a week fostering him and knew he was the perfect pup for him. We can’t wait to see his adventures going forward. Watch adorable Arturo on his first day stateside!

Ozzie is a happy, easy-going little guy who is playful, happy and fun who caught the eye of Josh and Blakely. Once they met him, they were certain he was the perfect pup for them. He headed home with them and has become a pro at sunning on the sunny patio and playing with his toys while they are busy on zoom calls. Watch him having fun with his buddy!

Rocky G cught the eyes and hearts of many of our TR fans. No wonder! He is a gentle, sweet, calm and lovely guy who just wants to be loved. Qi fell in love with those eyes and quickly completed the applicaition and arranged to meet him with the intention to take him home. We couldn’t be happier for Rocky who spent almost two years in his rescue home in PR until we were able to get him his freedom flight! Watch this sweet boy during his first few days here getting a bath and getting settled!

Sweet as can be and within less than a week, a foster fail! Foster mom, Emily, couldn’t resist saying, “YES”. Sweet Bluey has the most unique coloring. Don’t be fooled from the photo, this sweetie is a very petite little pup of 24 lbs. calm, quiet, sweet and gentle, he loves to chill in his crate when nothing is going on but if there is a pup to play with, he is ready. Watch Bluey in his first days stateside.

Perla arrived happy, confident and sweet as can be. We made a quick call to Ana and Maya, knowing she would be a perfect companion for these first time pup owners. It took less than 48 hours “fostering” her before they sealed the deal! Welcome home, Pearl! Watch her on her first day stateside.

Emily saw Trish’s bio and was smitten from the word go. Upon meeting her, she was ready to sign, seal and take home. Mom says she is doing amazing her first couple of nights home. Trish will be joining mom at her office and be the office therapy pup! She's a social butterfly with people an will immediately put them at ease with her happy, bouncing personality. Watch this sweet and happy girl!

A heartwarming foster win! Zach, now Vito Pepito, has found his forever home with Larissa and Gonzalo, quickly becoming a beloved member of their family. His talent for cuddles sealed the deal! This happy ending gets even better: Vito will soon have a sister, Sandy, joining the family from Puerto Rico. And the commitment to rescue continues, as they'll be relocating to California to expand Toby Rescue, launching its West Coast chapter.

From rescued to reunion! Meet Lorraine, the sweet mama of Honey and Evonie (now Root and Gina Maria), two pups we rescued in January. And guess what? She got her freedom wings and even before leaving the island, she's been adopted by Adrienne, Gina Maria's adopter! This little cutie is gentle, sweet, and dainty. Danielita, or as we lovingly call her, Dani arrived to the DMV and quickly settled into her foster home with Sofia. Sofia has already fallen for this sweet girl and has signed her dance card in the hopes of making her a permanent addition. Stay tuned to see the ending to this beautiful fairy tale. No matter as a foster or a permanent addition since Sofia works evenings, Larissa, who is fostering Daisy Belle and lives in the same building, will be her nighttime foster mom! 🥰

Sandy, Sandy, Sandy, our little tiny blind chi mix. Foster Extraordinaire, Larissa, flew to PR to pick up her baby sight unseen. It was a quick whirlwind trip of 30 hours and now Sandy is home! Soon she will be flaunting her way around Friendship Heights in a variety of adorable outfits because mom went to town and ordered up a full wardrobe for this cutie! As a bonus, Larissa says that she, Vito and Sandy plan to continue to welcome fosters into their home!

After two years waiting his turn at our partner rescue in Puerto Rico, ZamZam is HOME! Shelley finally realized she was ready for her next pup after a long break to heal her heart when she saw him and immediately reached out. His gratitude is evident when he cuddles up close and says, "Thank you, thank you for taking a chance on me." Zamzam is a wonderful companion who gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs. Zamzam settles in his crate at night or when you are busy working. Watch this amazing sweetie!

Camilla and Brian put their signature on her dance card before she even arrived. They fell for her gorgeous caramel eys and petite size. It only took a quick moment to see that she and their 14-year-old pooch, Calvin would be a good match! Our adorable bonded brothers, Dobby (formerly Spot) 🐶 and Remi (formerly Patch) 🐶, have found their forever home! 🏡 We know adopting two pups at once can feel like a big commitment, but these two were inseparable and truly needed to stay together. After spending time at Toby’s Rescue HQ and then being loved by their amazing foster paw-rent, Emily. Today they’re off to their happily ever after with Jules and Mikayla! 🎉🐾

Adrienne needed time to heal her broken heart but recently she knew she was ready when she saw a post from volunteer and team member, Sahra about Evonie and just fell in love with her sweet face and gentle eyes. Miss Evonie may take a little time to get comfortable but Adrienne says she can take her time. Welcome home, Gina Maria.

Carol and Tom and their two kids came, they saw, they played with and were smitten by this charming little girl with a jaunty waddle and playful personality. We are thrilled for the whole family and this adorable little girl who caught our hearts when we met her in Puerto Rico a couple of weeks ago!

Little Miss Suzie Q's journey to her forever home is the kind of story that warms your heart! This sweet girl came to us through Hatton Animal Sanctuary. She had a broken pelvis when she went to Hatton. After surgery and several months of recovery, Suzie Q landed in the foster home of foster mom, amazing Kathleen. And, well, it was meant to be! After a month of fostering, Kathleen knew Suzie Q was family. Now, this lucky lady is officially home, snuggling with her new kitty and cockatoo siblings. And the best part? She's the purrfect little hostess, greeting Kathleen's clients with a warm welcome and a wagging tail. We're beyond happy for Suzie Q.

BIG NEWS! ✨ Sir Winston Bartholomew Rafael Hinton the 1st (formerly known as Reggie) has officially been adopted and is loving life in his forever home! He and his new bestie, Tucker, have already become inseparable—talk about a perfect match! A huge congratulations to Ambyr who discovered Toby’s Rescue because of another TR alum family who agreed to foster Winston for a few days to make sure 16 year old Tucker was ready to accept another pup in the hom. HE WAS! These happy endings are what rescue is all about.

Dallas, Dallas sweet Dallas. He was brought into BARCS by a good samaritan when they saw him being attacked by two big dogs. He is a happy, easy going pup and when Gayle and her family saw him at the local dog park, they knew he was the perfect fit for their family. Bean is a 20lbs playful cuddler, sweet and easy going caught the eye of Kelly when she missed out on Max Eli. A slightly bigger version of him, he was absolutely perfect for her. she said when she told her daughter he was the perfect pup and meant to be, she said, “you mean he was meant to Bean!” Watch him with his foster sister, Fifi in his first week stateside!

This sweet guy was surrendered locally through no fault of his own. After meeting Andy and his family, it was love at first sight. They decided to foster with the intention to adopt, and just three weeks later, Astro is now living his best life in his forever home! From the moment Astro stepped into his new home, he knew he was where he belonged. Just look how confident he lays at his bay window and all the love he’s getting from his family. We’re beyond grateful for the pieces that came together to give him the happy ending he deserves.

A sweet tucker. Rescued from a life in a crate, it took a village to get this sweet boy to where he is today, happy, well-adjusted, sweet and loved. In less than a month he has gained 5 lbs. Nina, Dala, Cole and Nala were looking to add a pup to their family and when they saw his video, it was love, love, love! His bestie is TR alum, Cali and they love to have playdates. Bubu arrived as 2024 closed with TR adopters, Deming and Jiaxing. They fostered him for a couple of days while he decompressed and then Mary saw his sweet face and knew he would be the perfect canine brother for Joy. The boys, Grant and Will are also thrilled to welcome this sweet boy home
